RFID Inventory Application
AdaInventory
Field workflows connected to RFID hardware, a Bluetooth printer, and operational data.

Understanding the need
The Challenge
Operational teams needed to classify and tag waste while working with an RFID UHF-RH03 handheld and a thermal Bluetooth printer.
Our approach
The Solution
We built an Android application for device connection, labelling, RFID configuration, tag writing, and stock checks, connected to a Flask and PostgreSQL backend.
Hardware-aware workflow
Device connections and tagging are part of the same operational journey.
Connected records
Label and inventory information connects with the backend.

Home
The home screen connects a Bluetooth printer and RFID handheld, with shortcuts to labeling, settings, putaway, and digital storage.

Create New Label
A waste label form with automatic numbering and classification data such as type, vertical, source, location, station, date, shift, and weight.

Label Details
RFID label details show waste classification data, label number, location, weight, and actions for printing and writing RFID tags.

RFID Setting
Technical RFID handheld settings for power, band, session, frequency point, RFLink, EPC, and TID.

Write RFID Tag
The workflow for writing data to RFID tags using the handheld device’s trigger.

Stocktaking
A list of stocktaking tasks with completed or pending status for each waste category and location.

Print Label
A printing confirmation checks that the Bluetooth thermal printer is connected before printing.
